The Virtual Grand Blue Mile gives everyone the chance to be part of this family-friendly, one-mile tradition—no matter where you live! Run or walk one mile anywhere you choose, and we’ll ship your race packet right to your door.

All participants receive an official Grand Blue Mile T-shirt (in your selected size), an official race bib, and a finisher medal for youth 12 and under. Keep an eye on our newsletters and social media for the big reveal of this year’s designs!

Anywhere! Sidewalks, trails, treadmills—it’s your mile, your way. Want to run with your kids, push a stroller, or walk with your pet? Go for it! Just be sure to tag @GrandBlueMile and @DrakeRelays so we can cheer you on.

We use the honor system for virtual results, but you can track your mile with any GPS app, smartwatch, or treadmill display.

Yes! Complete both the Drake Road Races (any distance) and the Grand Blue Mile—virtually or in-person—and you’ll receive the exclusive Bulldog Double medal.

• Registered by March 31, 2025 (11:59 p.m.): Your packet will arrive before in-person race day.

• Registered April 1, 2025, or later: Your packet will be mailed within two weeks after the in-person Grand Blue Mile. You can still run and log results before receiving it.

1. When the race results window opens, we’ll share a link for submissions.

2. Search and select your name.

3. Click Submit Results.

4. Log in to your RunSignup account.

5. Submit your results or upload photos.

6. Save!
